Evelyn de Souza is a results-driven security and privacy leader; skilled at driving transformative efforts that provide customers best-in-class protection.
Evelyn’s expertise spans technologies such as blockchain, big data, threat analytics, endpoint protection to IT security control design and implementation – GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, and SSAE 16 (SOC II). She was named to CloudNOW’s Top 10 Women in Cloud Computing for 2014 and SVBJ’s Woman of Influence for 2015, and is a key thought influencer on data safety, and cloud compliance.
Evelyn currently serves as a Security Strategy Leader / Board Advisor to Universal Patient Key, where she designs security, compliance and privacy controls to accelerate customer digital journeys, reducing audit overlap by 40% and providing ongoing assurances to key stakeholders and executives.
She is also an Advisory Board Member for Universal Patient Key, providing strategic guidance to differentiate startups across emerging areas of healthcare, privacy and compliance and for Social SafeGuard – Social Media Compliance & Security and 360ofme. Evelyn previously served as Cloud Security and Data Privacy Leader / Strategy Advisor to Cloud Security Alliance.
