Cynthia Kaschub

Principle User Experience Engineer, Intel

Cynthia is a Principle Engineer in the Visual Computing Products Group where she is the Developer Experience lead for Video Analytics. Previously at Intel, she led User Experience for the Autonomous Driving Data Center Research & Development Platform, pre-silicon virtual platform capabilities, Perceptual Computing and various other software programs. Cynthia has also worked at Adobe Systems as Senior UX Researcher for their Creative and Marketing Clouds.  Cynthia also serves as an Advisory Board Member to Rutgers University Center for Innovation where she supports the new Big Data Certificate Program which targets middle-to senior-management in their Big Data definition and implementation.  She is also a founding member of Women in Big Data which is an industry-wide effort to increase women’s representation in the field of big-data to 40% by 2020 by providing technical and soft skill trainings, networking and mentoring. Women in Big Data started with 13 women from key industry-companies (IBM, Cloudera, Intel, Oracle, etc.) in 2013 and now has chapters world-wide.  Cynthia holds a PhD in Cognitive and Sensory Processes from University of Florida, Masters of Science from Villanova University and a Bachelors of Arts from Boston College.
